I realised it's been a long time since I did any Tomb Raider fan art, and it's about time I did Lara some justice!

This picture is one I've had in mind for years but never got around to doing.

Tomb Raider 2 was one of the very first PC games I ever played, my sister and I used to watch my dad playing it when we were very young, and when I was 8 years old I was determined to be just like Lara when I was older.

Well, obviously that never worked out... but Tomb Raider 2 is still one of my all time favourite games, and I can still remember when I first played the underwater levels and got eaten by great white sharks!

Love the attention to detail and the way it isn't overly sexualised. Fave'd.

(The Last Revelation was what introduced me to video games, and I was absolutely the same as you at eight. Know the Tomb Raider nostalgia feeling, believe me.)

Tomb Raider was what got me into gaming as well. Lara appeals to women too, not because of her overt sexualisation, but because she is a strong and inspiring character. When I was 8, I wanted to be Lara Croft.
